The Marini Group's history is based on a solid tradition established in 1945 in Prato in the heart of Tuscany. Specializing in mid to high-end apparel fabrics, the company is a reference for many international designers thanks to a sophisticated and progressive style that combines textile culture and innovations.
The materials and textures research is at the heart of Marini Industrie's fabric collections, which offer weaves with a refined style, plain or fancy, and creative and varied structures, aspects and finishes to meet the needs and desires of all their customers: linen fabrics, light and fresh fabrics with satin aspects, madras, checks and stripes, high quality coat fabrics from noble fibers such as cashmere or alpaca, jacquard, durable stretch linens and anti-shrink wools.
Innovative company, more than 20 years ago, Marini Industrie launched its famous durable stretch linen on the market. After many years of research and improvements, the company now presents its new concept of Organic Stretch Linen, a contemporary and sustainable fabric made of GOTS-certified linen with viscose obtained from cotton waste and Eco Smart Roica®-certified elastane.
Second innovation by Marini Industrie, the H2Wool is a revolutionary anti-shrinkage treatment for wool that provides water washability, wrinkle resistance and improved color rendering, while offering additional aesthetic and tactile characteristics to the natural performance of wool. Marini Industrie also ensures that the manufacturing process of H2Wool is traceable and guaranteed without mulesing.
In every Marini Industrie collection, the focus is put on sustainability with fabrics made of recycled polyester, GOTS-certified organic linen, regenerated cotton-polyester, nylon from the reuse of waste such as fishing nets, GRS-certified elastane or viscose from the recycling of cotton waste.
The company also signed the Detox Pledge in 2016, sponsored by Greenpeace, taking part in a process that includes phasing out 11 substances considered hazardous.
