In 1997 Anne Gelbard, a graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, set up a most unusual workshop. A true research and development laboratory where everything is conducive to creativity. Anne Gelbard pushes the idea of the creator to its limit. An explosion of colours and materials. The airbrush meets the delicacy of the hand-painted. The pigments overlap, fade into one another. Sheen and matt harmonise. The rarefied application techniques of gold, silver or copper leaf transform the base cloth. Anne Gelbard catches, absorbs every desire and transforms the materials under her hands.
