The Wet-green company has developed Olivenleder®, a vegetable alternative to conventional animal-leather tanning which is healthy and non-toxic, especially when in contact with the skin.
A leaf brewing process is used to collect a tannin extract, which is transformed into an aromatic syrup, the basis of the vegetable tanning process, which is, according to a patent registered by Wet-green, free of chromium, glutaraldehyde and aluminum. Tanning is available in a wide range of colors.
The Olivenleder® solution can be utilized for animal skins used in several sectors: automotive, fashion, home interiors, footwear, upholstery and health care.
