This traditional double Ikat technique offers a wide range of possibilities and compositions thanks to various yarn dyeing techniques. Shimogawa Orimono is contributing to the international recognition of Kasuri by expanding its collaborations with textile designers, fashion houses and artists outside Japan, adapting the tradition to clothing designers' creative requirements.
